Most of us drive a car every day to get from point A to B so it’s hard to comprehend something so common and consistent in our lives to be a major contributor to Australian deaths. This infographic touches on some interesting statistics including the colour of cars more prone to accidents, the most dangerous highways in Queensland and the top contributing factors.
By definition, an accident is something that happens unexpectedly or unintentionally, however, the major contributing factors to road accidents include fatigue, speeding, illegal manoeuvres and drink-driving. These are the poor decisions made by the driver alluding to the fact that accidents don’t happen, they are caused.
